Unfortunately for some, hardships such as loss of income, illness or other challenges make it difficult for some families to continue making their mortgage payments. Depending upon your particular hardship or circumstance.

The Housing Resource Center can assist you in finding out if you qualify for one of the following at NO COST to you:

1. Home Affordable Modification Program or Making Home Affordable Modification

2. Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac up to 125% CLTV Refinance

3. Home Affordable Refinance Program or Short Refinance

4. Traditional Loan Modification

5. Streamline Refinance or Traditional Refinance

6. Forbearance Agreements- Financial or Medical

7. Re-payment or Re-Instatement plan

8. Reverse Mortgage/HECM

9. Investor Note Purchase

At The Housing Resource Center we know that your home was a major financial purchase and keeping it is very important. That is why we have surrounded ourselves with a Network of Experts and Professionals in our local areas to help you answer all your questions.

Our Network consists of Banks, Brokers, Realtors, Attorneys, Accountants, Tax Specialists, Insurance Agents and many other community-based organizations to help you lower your payments and afford your home again to help get you and your family back on track. We will help you determine, depending on your individual needs and circumstances, who may be best suited to help you achieve your goals. Let us help you explore the many options to possibly avoid bankruptcy or foreclosure.

Remember: Your bank typically doesn’t want your home. They are in the business of lending money not owning and selling real estate. Foreclosure is cost and time consuming to the lenders. It is in their best interest to workout a loan for you. If you currently make your payment, but can't afford paying most of the arrearages, your lender will most likely capitalize your past-due amounts, including interest and escrow, into the unpaid principal balance. The new amount will be re-amortized over time.
